1. Introduction
At CALOIQ, your privacy is a priority. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Data we collect
- Account: email, password (hashed), name.
- Health: age, height, weight, gender, activity level, goal, diet type, allergies, sleep hours.
- Usage: logged meals, water, steps, InBody reports, challenges, coach messages.
- Device: browser/device type, IP address, system language.
- Payment: processed by Stripe — we do NOT store card numbers.
3. How we use your data
- Calculate your daily calories and macro targets.
- Generate AI meal plans and personalized recommendations.
- Analyze InBody reports (image sent to Anthropic Claude Vision).
- Send reminders (water/meals) if you enable them.
- Improve the service and detect bugs.
4. Third‑party processors
We use trusted services for specific tasks:
- Anthropic Claude — text and Vision analysis, coach conversations.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- MongoDB Atlas — database hosting.
- Apple HealthKit / Google Health Connect — only on native apps, with your explicit permission.
We do NOT sell your data and we do NOT share it for advertising.
5. Data retention
We keep your account while you actively use the App. When you delete your account from Settings, all your data (meals, reports, challenges, coach messages, etc.) is immediately and permanently removed from our database.
6. Security
We use HTTPS with TLS 1.2+ for all traffic, and passwords are stored with bcrypt. No method is 100% secure, but we do our best.
7. Your rights
You may:
- Access your data (everything is visible inside the App).
- Correct any inaccurate data from the Profile screen.
- Delete your account permanently from Settings → Delete account.
- Disable notifications or reminders at any time.

8. Cookies
We use only necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third‑party tracking cookies.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. If we discover a user is under 13, we will delete the account immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will notify you in‑app or by email.
